Saint Francis University SBDC Client Success Story
Bedford County Photographer Receives CEAP Grants

""Della needed to upgrade her equipment for her photography business. She needed a camera with a higher resolution that was lighter and could be controlled using her phone. The SBDC assisted her in preparing a business plan and projected financial statements, including detailed assumptions. This information enabled her to apply for funding through the Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator Program (CEAP).

Della received two separate CEAP grants. The first was a $2,000 grant, and the second was a $3,000 grant available to small businesses that had been negatively impacted by COVID-19. The grant funds enabled Della to purchase the upgraded photography equipment. As a result, she was able to use her business funds for other costs and expenses, including marketing.

“The counseling I received from the SBDC not only assisted me in receiving the grants, but made me more aware of the day to day management of the business. The SBDC assistance and CEAP grants are a game changer for my business.”
