HOW ARE YOUR SERVICES FREE?
We are funded by the Small Business Administration and Temple University, which allows us to offer our core services at no cost to you. We also have programs specialized programs funded by other organizations.
WHAT KIND OF BUSINESSES CAN YOU HELP?
Yes, we can help entrepreneurs and business owners at all stages of business development! Whether you’re at the very beginning of your business journey or you’re looking to grow your existing business, we have the expertise to help you thrive.
CAN YOU HELP ME GET INTERNS?
We do not connect our clients with student interns directly. If you’re interested in hiring an owl, check out the Temple University Career Center.
CAN YOU GET ME FUNDING?
The SBDC does not offer grant funding or loans directly to clients. However, we keep a comprehensive list of funding opportunities on our resource page. Our consultants are happy to help you prepare grant and loan applications for other organizations.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We have offices located a Temple’s Main, Center City, and Ambler campuses. However, our team also works from partner locations across our footprint and provides virtual services too.
ARE YOU MEETING CLIENTS IN PERSON? WHERE?
We can provide meetings virtually or at our office and partner locations. Just work with your consultant to schedule where and when you’d like to meet.
DO I NEED TO WRITE A BUSINESS PLAN?
Our answer is always yes. Your business is far more likely to succeed if you have a proper business plan. Your consultant can help you create a business plan. We also offer monthly webinars on writing a stellar business plan.
