Job Summary:
The purpose of the position is to focus the strategic programming for the SSBCI program across the PASBDC network for Very Small Businesses (VSB’s) and Socially Economic Disadvantaged Individuals (SEDI’s) entrepreneurs who are seeking SSBCI capital for funding growth. This position is responsible for reviewing the client intake assessment needs in areas of financial, legal and accounting needs of SSBCI loan applicants and managing the client consulting project scope of work and the SSBCI consulting, coaching, mentoring team to ensure a successful client loan closing outcome.
The position acts as the point of contact for the network on matters related to achieving and being a leader in the nation for our SSBCI capital acquisition goals and plays a key role on achieving our strategic goal for the network for capital acquisition. The position also delivers educational and consulting growth services. The position also identifies training programming needs and schedules webinars for SSBCI clients to participate including the peer-to-peer learning cohorts that will meet on a regular basis to share best practices while acting as an accountable peer group. This position will be based at Kutztown University with some expected travel throughout eastern Pennsylvania.
Official offer of employment and start date will be contingent upon the execution of a signed grant award from the funder and the release of the grant funds to the SSBCI, which we anticipate happening in February, 2023

Job Summary:
The purpose of the position is to focus the strategic accounting services for programming of the SSBCI program across the PASBDC network for Very Small Businesses (VSB’s) and Socially Economic Disadvantaged Individuals (SEDI’s) entrepreneurs who are seeking SSBCI capital for funding growth. This position is responsible for assessing and resolving the accounting needs of SSBCI loan applicants. The position manages the client consulting project scope of work and supervisors the contract employees assigned to help resolve a client accounting or IRS issue prior to the client getting to the loan closing. The position does also provide direct SSBCI consulting, coaching, mentoring to the SSBCI professional team and to SSBCI certified clients to ensure a successful client loan closing outcome.
The position also identifies training modules for accounting, tax compliance, Quickbooks programming needs and schedules webinars for SSBCI clients to participate including the peer-to-peer learning cohorts that will meet on a regular basis to share best practices while acting as an accountable peer group. As a Quickbooks, certified ProAdvisor this position plays a critical strategic role with delivering the goals of the U.S. Treasury SSBCI TA program at KU for the Commonwealth.
