Senior Associate Director

Cherrill Wilson has been with the SBDC for over 15 years and is the Senior Associate Director of Business Management Consulting. She manages the consulting staff, which includes business consultants, graduate students, and undergraduate students. She assists the Director in the fulfillment of the SBDC’s goals; one of which is to engage in providing business management, legal, government procurement, international trade services, marketing, and financial consulting assistance to new and existing businesses.

Cherrill brings to the SBDC team over 20 years of financial service experience in banking and accounting services.  She has worked as an accountant, bank auditor, senior credit analyst, and financial consultant. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University, as well as an MBA in Urban Economic Development from Eastern University. Cherrill also holds a Master of Divinity Degree from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Theological Seminary).

Cherrill believes in providing wholeness to the community by giving back the things she has learned and experienced. In her many roles as a business owner and developer, non-profit manager, ordained minister, and pastor, she seeks to empower and benefit the community at large.
