Realigning Her Dream: Bloomsburg Family Chiropractic

Dr. Elizabeth Ardo was born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania, where she first learned the benefits of chiropractic. She has been a patient of chiropractic since high school. When she saw the impact chiropractic had on her and her family members, she knew she wanted to become a chiropractor.

Dr. Ardo attended The Pennsylvania State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology as well as a minor certification in Nutritional Sciences. She then attended New York Chiropractic College where she earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and certification in Human Performance and Function in 2013. After graduation, Dr. Ardo practiced in Kingston, PA for three years. While making adjustments for the health of her patients, Dr. Ardo also thought about realigning her own life. After much consideration, Dr. Ardo knew she wanted to open her own business. She began talking over the idea with her new husband, Gino, who is the proprietor of OHF Orchards, LLC in Buckhorn, PA. The two decided to move forward with the idea, and Dr. Ardo contacted the Wilkes Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to schedule a meeting.

Just five short months after a meeting with a business consultant from the Wilkes Small Business Development Center, Dr. Ardo opened her practice, Bloomsburg Family Chiropractic, PLLC, to the public.

The Wilkes SBDC is continuing their support of Dr. Ardo’s new business venture through assisting the business with a grand opening event. Like her fellow entrepreneur husband, Dr. Ardo believes in the importance of creating a force for good in the community. Dr. Ardo is excited to help the people of Bloomsburg function better and live healthier lifestyles and delighted that she adjusted her dreams to be aligned with her life goals.
