Pennsylvania SBDC to partner with Google and Democratic National Convention Committee for “Let’s Put Philadelphia on the Map” Workshop on February 3

  • Share |

Join the Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), Google, and the Democratic National Convention (DNC) Committee for an expert-hosted workshop for your business. Learn how to get your business online and growing, connect with customers on Google, verify your business listing on Google Maps, and more.

Google notes that being on the map matters. 4 in 5 consumers use search engines to find local information, like store addresses, business hours, product availability and directions. Yet, only 37 percent of businesses have claimed their listing on a search engine–that’s a lot of missing information. Let’s Put Our Cities on the Map with Google aims to ensure every small business can get found online and on the map, for free.

The workshop will take place Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Spots are limited, so RSVP today at gybo.com/events/philadelphia.
