Keynote Speaker Announced for Women in Leadership Development (WILD) Conference in Erie

Registration is now open for the 8th Annual Women in Leadership Development (WILD) Conference. The WILD is a celebration that recognizes, supports, and promotes professional and enterprising women in business. In 2008, Gannon University's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) founded WILD to emphasize the concept of women empowering other women through knowledge, energy and passion. This concept of connectivity is achieved by encouraging networking, providing leadership opportunities and supporting each other.

The 8th Annual WILD Conference will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Ambassador Banquet and Conference Center in Erie. Attendees will be able to attend sessions on various topics that include social media, financial management, entrepreneurship and leadership. It is anticipated that over 400 attendees will take part in WILD 2015, with former attendees traveling from as far as New York, Ohio, and Indiana.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Janet Rose, an author, speaker, and a passionate advocate for ushering women into the leadership arena. Dr. Rose is frequently a guest on Huffpost Live and most recently co-authored Leading Women: 20 Influential Women Share Their Secrets in Leadership, Business, and Life. Each attendee will receive a copy of her book.

The conference will offer nine workshops and seminars in three different categories: Women Business Owners/Entrepreneurs, Executive Leadership, and Risking Leaders.
