Wharton SBDC Receives $500,000 Grant

The Wharton Small Business Development Center received a five-year $500,000 grant from Wells Fargo. The grant will support the outstanding programs the SBDC provides to help entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses.

The Director of the Wharton SBDC, Dr. Therese Flaherty, called Wells Fargo and the SBDC perfect partners to reach out to more entrepreneurs in the greater Philadelphia business community.

"We are proud and excited to begin our partnership with Wells Fargo, a leader in small business banking," said Therese Flaherty.

"This partnership will build on our common commitment and complementary strengths to help build great businesses and create good jobs in the Greater Philadelphia region. This partnership will enable us to enhance Wharton SBDC's core programs that have served over 25,000 businesses in our 30 years," said Flaherty.
