Ms. Johns was on hand to listen to entrepreneurs and gather information to strengthen SBA policies that support the small business community.

The small business owners in attendance represented a diverse range of industries -- construction, security, technology, and recycling -- and included veteran, women, and minority-owned businesses.

Ms. Johns spoke of the SBA’s role to be the voice for small business. She also praised the network of Small Business Development Centers, calling them a critical part of the SBA and its mission in delivering services to entrepreneurs and small business owners.
